The Honorable Supervisor Susan Bonilla dedicated "Capturing Mount Diablo",  the art passages exhibition representing District 4, during the Board of Supervisors' meeting on Tuesday, June 5, 2007.

AC5 was proud to present this exceptional exhibit featuring the beauty, grandeur and magnificence of Mt. Diablo and the surrounding foothills featuring photographer Bob Larson.  Larson, a staff photographer for the Contra Costa Times, did a photographic study on our beloved Mount Diablo during the year 2006. This exhibit was sponsored by Save Mount Diablo, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) land conservation organization whose mission is to preserve Mount Diablo's peaks and surrounding foothills, through land acquisition and preservation strategies to: protect the mountain's natural beauty, integrity, and biological diversity; enhance our area's quality of life and provide recreational opportunities consistent with protection of natural resources. The Contra Costa Times generously provided Larson's photographs as well as additional funding for the exhibit.

This intimate look of Mt. Diablo through the lens of Bob Larson includes ten photographs for each season and was displayed in the halls of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, Public Spaces; Foyer, Board of Supervisors Chambers, and the first floor Room 107 hallway.
