Robin Moore, Executive Director
Born and raised in Sacramento, Robin's love for the arts started early.
She grew up in a household where her mother enjoyed oil painting and
her father treated the family to weekly Texaco Metropolitan Opera Radio
broadcasts. Robin earned her Bachelor of Arts in art history at Mills
College. Her working career has been in the payroll service industry,
most recently as a Senior Project Consultant for ADP, Inc. where she
worked for thirteen years.
During the 1990s Robin resided in Fairfield where she chaired two
city council advisory committees: the Art in Public Places Task Force
and the Cultural Arts Awards Committee.
Robin's other passions include international cookery and collecting handmade teapots.
Anne Atkinson,
Project Coordinator & Administrative Assistant
Anne joined the staff of AC5 in April 2008 after receiving a Master's degree in Environmental Planning and Resource Management from San Francisco State University.
Anne has over nine years of experience in the non-profit world, including work
in planned giving at the Trust for Public
Land, fundraising and events management at Easter Seals Bay
Area and philanthropic work in the Environment Program at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. She recently worked as a restoration intern with the Watershed project in Richmond, and enjoys hiking and mountain biking in the East Bay hills.
Rebecca Ines,
Exhibition Manager
Born in San
Francisco in the Haight-Ashbury district, Rebecca earned a degree
in Business Management with course work in Arts Education and Art therapy from
Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.
She worked in Art Administration for over ten years, and was on the founding
Task Force that developed the criteria for Arts and Culture Commission of
Contra Costa County (AC5) in the early 90’s. She was the Regional Chair
for CALAA (California Assembly of Local Arts Agencies) playing a strong
advocacy role for the San Francisco Bay Area Art Organizations. In
addition Ines was involved with the design and opening of the first Municipal Art
Gallery in Antioch. She also coordinated the
design process and installation of over 30 Public Art Projects in Contra Costa
and Alameda Counties,
including projects such as the Montclair Streetscape, Antioch Animal Shelter
and Antioch Police Station, Oakland Banner Project (Fruitvale District), and
the Emergency Dispatch
Center - Fire Station in Oakland. As a
volunteer for the Arts, Ines has served as a Commissioner for AC5 on both the
Public Art Advisory Committee and the Art in the Courthouse Committee.
She has also volunteered for the Arts and Culture Commission of Richmond and
served on the Public Art Advisory and Historical Committees. Ines also
served on the Oakland Arts in the Library project, the Concord Gallery Task
Force and has consulted with numerous Art groups in Public Art process and
Business Development in the Arts.
Dorrie Langley, Exhibits Curator
Dorrie is a painter, a fourth generation Californian and has
been a Martinez
resident for over 20 years. Dorrie has served as a Martinez Arts Association Board
Member and as Martinez Arts and Library Commission Chair. She studied Art at the University of Maryland,
The Corcoran School of Art, Monterey Cannery Studios, UC Berkeley Extension and
Diablo Valley College. Dorrie has taught after school art classes at
John Muir
Elementary School and summer adult
mural classes for the City of Martinez. Dorrie’s paintings have been displayed in
City Hall in Martinez, the mARTinez GALLERY, and
the Main ARTery Gallery in Benicia, and her
murals can be viewed on Escobar
Street, Court and Susana Streets, F Street and the Library Garden
in Martinez.
